The mission of the Bunker Hill Community College Foundation is to obtain resources to support the college, thereby enabling students with diverse educational, ethnic and cultural backgrounds to benefit from a high-quality, affordable, post-secondary education. The mission is realized by building constituencies and fund raising among groups and individuals including alumni, business, civic, community and educational leaders.
The Foundation secures resources in a variety of ways. For example, each year the Foundation hosts a benefit dinner at the famous Hampshire House restaurant in Boston's Back Bay. Culinary Arts students from Bunker Hill Community College prepare a dynamic menu that is enjoyed by corporate, civic and community friends who come to support college initiatives and celebrate its accomplishments.
The Bunker Hill Community College Foundation is a 501(c)(3), non-profit corporation that solicits, accepts, manages, invests and distributes contributions as well as regularly communicates with donors and prospects. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent approved by law.
