Monthly Payment Plan Fact Sheet (AMS & BHCC)

• Available only in the Fall and Spring terms, not available in the Summer or Mini Semester terms.
• The first installment plus a $35 non-refundable administrative fee is due with the application upon registration.
• You will not qualify for the installment plan if you have a past-due bill with the College or have been terminated from a prior installment plan.
• The remaining installments are due on or before the 10th of each month.
• Any payments received beyond the due date will be assessed a $25 LATE FEE.
• Two consecutive past due payments will result in termination from the plan and the entire balance will become due & payable immediately.
• The plan will be terminated whenever a check is returned from the bank. The entire balance will become due immediately as well as the $25 RETURNED CHECK FEE.
• All terminated accounts will be treated as delinquent accounts, disallowing registration for future terms, and subject to further collection procedures including referral to a collection agency and referral for state intercept. Additional collection fees will also be incurred.
• Failure to meet the conditions of the Plan shall result in a hold of the Student’s record, and may result in the account being turned over to collection and state intercept. Student shall be obligated for all collection and/or legal cost incurred.
• Plan adjustments resulting from a change in course load will be made.
• If classes are added after enrolling, 50% of all additional tuition fees incurred after the approval of this planmust be paid at registration. If mini semester classes are added the entire cost is due at the time of registration.
• If you become eligible for financial aid after enrolling in the installment plan, you must submit a request to terminate the payment plan to the Student Payment Office in order to discontinue billing. Under no circumstance will the processing fee of $35 be refunded.
• Student must abide by the Add/Drop, Withdrawal, and Refund Policies and all other pertinent policies set by the College.
• If Student is under age 18, a CO-Signer is required and must be the Student’s parent or legal guardian. CO- Signer must be over 18 years of age. If Student fails to meet the conditions of this Plan, CO-Signer will be held fully responsible for the outstanding obligation of this Plan, including collection and legal fees.
