Corporate Training

For over a decade, the Workforce Development Center at BHCC has been helping companies with hands-on, custom programs to develop their workers' skills. Programs include everything from assessments and basic workplace skills to interpersonal and supervisory training, technical training programs and much more. Workforce Development, the ACT Center and Community Education
Through Workforce Development, the ACT Center and CommunityEducation Division, BHCC meets the specific needs of the community by developing and offering a variety of flexable yet specific non-traditional training programs designed for both organizationsand individuals.

BHCC assists local businesses in assessing and upgrading the skills of their employees through contract training programs offered 24/7. Individuals enroll in continuingeducation courses and computer-based training to acquire new skills leading to career enhancement as well as personal enrichment.

In addition, our ACT Center is a state-of-the-art training facility that uses computer-based technologies to build the job skills needed for success. Employers and individuals can take advantage of more than 2,000 web-based non-credit courses in topic areas such as computer software, time management, customer service, reading, writing and IT Certifications. The Center also offers CLEP, Dantes and high-stakes testing.

Thus, three different types of non-traditional services are available, depending on the needs and interests of organizations and individuals.
