Ray Suarez has 20 years of experience in the news industry. He currently is a
senior correspondent and a backup anchor with PBS’s NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.
Formerly, he was the host of NPR’s Talk of the Nation. Mr. Suarez also held positions
with other notable media outlets including CNN, the ABC Radio Network and CBS
Radio. He’s the author of The Old Neighborhood: What We Lost in the Great
Suburban Migration, and a contributor to Las Christmas: Favorite Latino Authors
Share Their Holiday Memories. Suarez has been published in The New York Times,
The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune and The Baltimore Sun.
